About AI Trimind News

AI Trimind News is the weekly AI accountability record. Every Monday an issue follows the storylines that shape artificial intelligence, what companies, governments and researchers said and did, and grades each storyline one week on against the issue before it. The site is published by AI TRIMIND.

How an issue is made

Each issue is prepared with the help of AI tools, then reviewed and published by the AI TRIMIND editorial team, which is responsible for it.

Sources

Every claim in an issue links to its source, with the source's date. Where a primary source exists (a company's own announcement, a regulatory filing, an official notice, a court record, a research paper) the issue cites it; otherwise it cites the press that reported it and says so. What a company says about itself is marked as its own account. Items that could not be confirmed are left out, and each issue lists them under Items Excluded and Why.

Verdicts

The verdict on each storyline (held, escalated) is the editors' judgement on the evidence the issue cites. It is analysis and opinion, not a statement of fact about any company or person. The issues review their own earlier calls and say when one of them no longer stands.

Quotations and security

Sources are quoted briefly, attributed and linked. Security incidents are reported at the level of what happened, who was affected and how it was fixed; no method of attack is reproduced.
